ABOUT

You don’t need a plane ticket.

You don’t need a five-year plan.

You just need a moment of honest curiosity.

I'M RACHEL

I am an ICF-certified Executive Coach, Certified Travel Coach, and CEO of Curious Traveler and MP6 Consulting. With more than 30 years of business experience — including 13 years in Federal leadership — I help women navigate professional and personal transitions with courage and clarity. I am also a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, trained directly by Dr. Brené Brown.

After leaving my Federal career in 2016 to start my own firm and later becoming a solo mom through adoption in 2024, I experienced firsthand how travel can unlock powerful insight and brave decision-making.

Today, I guide women to use intentional travel as a catalyst for aligned leadership and authentic lives.

WHY TRAVEL?

Because the most defining moments of my life have unfolded on the road.

Learning to speak another language while studying abroad in Spain helped me discover my own voice, confidence, and curiosity.

Immersing myself in unfamiliar cultures cultivated deep empathy for those navigating new worlds.

Traveling in the Outer Banks, NC on September 11, 2001, snapped my priorities into crystal clear focus.

Years later, on a return trip to that same place, I decided to leave my stable government job and start my own business.

And traveling in London, I made one of the most life-changing decisions of all — to adopt a baby. That journey led me to my son, the greatest adventure yet.

Travel is in my bones. Travel has written my history- and my future.

For me, that exploration and magic always emerge when I’m traveling, whether to the next town over or halfway around the world.

Being in a new environment and learning through experience opens us up and brings clarity to the questions that matter most.

This is a brave, nonjudgmental space to explore times of transition, growth, and discovery.

Lean into the journey. Walk your path with purpose and presence. And celebrate growth along the way.
